Mk1 Golf rear Brake Conversion

Hi All,

I currently have a Mk1 with Gerling 36 rear brake set up.  Calipers are shot and I can't find replacements or a refurb kit for them.  I heard that using Mk3 rear setup is one of the better conversions.  Anyone had experience with this or can suggest a more available option to covert to.

Can't Bigg Red of Worcester help you, they have repaired some pretty rare setups for me in the past?

Yeah i am based in BC Canada.  There are little to no shops out here that will do classic VW that's why i am looking for another solution
