Mk1 Golf Mud Flaps

Hi all,

I'm looking to fit mudflaps on my Mk1 GTi tin top….but very hard to source…..missed opportunity to purchase original Votex fronts on eBay recently. My GTi did have front mudflaps when I bought it 9 yrs ago, but during restoration I binned them not knowing they were originals and hard to get hold of. Very gutted.

I was looking at the SA Citi golf but I don't think they will fit as I have the plastic trims on the arches.

Would Mk2 Golf mudguards fit???

Or any other good options out there?

Had a quick look this AM and ironically nothing is leaping out at me, but keep checking as they do turn up.

Your eBay settings will make a big difference to what your search will yield, make sure they're as wide ranging as possible.

 I was searching myself for these last year. Found some in Germany but the cost was so high that I couldn't  couldn't bring myself to hit the purchase button.

Out of interest has anybody made their own? 

Super happy…..managed to get hold of one brand new set and one hardly used set of rare Quantum Mudflaps…..sheer coincidence I bumped into a person who had a set and knew of another person in Scotland who had a sealed set.

Can't wait to clamp them on……
