MK1 Golf Auto Battery Earth

Hello All,

Does anyone know where the earth on the Auto box goes for the MK1?  I can't fin d many guides or diagrams for the Auto.  Any help or images would be awesome thank you

On the autos there is a double stud that bolts the transmission to the block at the rear upper corner of the
transmission.


From the looks of that cable I would be possibly changing it out.

Thanks  for the quick response Briano, for some reason mine doesn't have this stud. I guess I can earth to any stud on the gearbox? I'll change the cable too, does look a bit tierd
