In tank fuel pump part number query

I have been given the part number of 867919051m for the intank fuel pump for 1983 1800 mk1 GTI Tintop.
When searching google i keep getting reslts for a 1.3 polo. The polo part has the same number but is it the same part ?
Any help is appreciated,

Tin tops never had an intank pump, it was a later cabrio addition. I think the cabro intank pump is no longer available so people have used the Polo injection version which is/was available.

All sorted now, the old tank was replaced. New tank fitted but the old tank got stolen out of the garage so couldn't get the original part number, the guy doing the rebuild supplied me with the incorrect part number.
Thanks for your help though.
