KMI sent back different warm up reg

I sent my warm up regulator to KMI through a local performance garage, and it came back this week, whole process took over 2 months so I assumed they would have actually serviced my part and sent it back. The one I sent off had a bit on the side to accept a vacuum line, the one I got back does not.. So can I use the one they sent back and plug off the vacuum line that had connected to the previous one? If not will obviously get on to them asap but pretty annoyed to say the least..

So my one looked like these, the bit on top was capped off and it had the vacuum connection on the side

This is where the vacuum connection comes from, the one heading towards the front of the bay at the split 

Sorted now, a previous owner must have fitted a 16v wur, and kmi sent back the correct 8v one, so just removed the y piece on the vacuum line
