Does anyone out there know where i can get injection pipes from with the zink gold ends

Have you also tried your local parts shop? They often have connections.

No injection lines that go to the injectors from the head unit

No, I'm pretty sure he means the braided stainless fuel injector hoses?

Not sure about the original yellow zinc finish, but you can now get new ones with stainless fittings from HEL Performance and also Goodridge have a set which VW Heritage sell.  These kits have all 7 hoses for injectors, cold start valve and the 2 x WUR hoses.
