Gravity valve

Does anyone know where i can get a gravity valve for 1.8 injection gti  please have looked everywhere and only one i can find is in germany and they dont ship to the uk.when i brought my car the previous owner had removed it

Are you missing yours altogether or has it been removed and isn't working correctly?

They're very simple devices, just a ball bearing or similar inside that blocks an inlet or outlet depending on which way up it is.

A flush through might get it unstuck?

I feel your frustration about finding one in Germany.

You may have already asked, but if not don't assume they won't post just because the auction settings say so.  

Granted it doesn't happen as often now but in the past I've found quite a few sellers are happy to post.

There's one situated elsewhere that does post to the UK, will message you the number.
