GOLF MK1 CABRIO ELECTRIC ROOF HOOD HYDRAULIC RAM SECURING FIXING PIN

Hi 

Looking for a part number or where to purchase a replacement pin for my cabriolet hood which fell out today?? 😞

I need a set too, any luck finding someone who supplies them or a part number ?

Well I feel guilty always pointing members to Carl chortle about roof issues but he's a great guy with more knowledge on roofs than the most of us put together.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed but the cost of roof parts seem to have gone through the roof over the past year or two in Austria and Germany from what iv seen.
For example I often get emails and pumps are being advertised now for up to £200 used, rams for a £100. I bought 3 years ago a working spare pump for £40!

A Good Hardware Store may have pins,  as well as hinge Pins for doors, but worst case, I would get a grade 10 Bolt and lock nut.  If the Head of the Bolt is the issue then Grind it or file it down to clear.
