Glue removal

Post

Good morning all. Can anyone give me some advice on how to remove super glue from my freshly painted clipper kit arches.
I had shelled out for a new seal kit from America and made the mistake of using the glue to stick the seal to the arch as I thought it would be more precise than using   a sikaflex product.
Trying to get the seal to stick around the curves proved difficult and has left residue glue visable.
Any help would be great.
Thanks.

Exacto knife, and possible swaps dipped in Acetone, carefully so you don't damage the paint.

What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?

They all start with GOOD Grounds.

Where are my DIY Links?

There are all sorts of specialist super glue removal products available; a quick Google search finds loads. Could be worth a try?

Cheers buddy. A bit of digging about and Loctite Superglue remover seems to be the stuff for the job.
Apparently it gels up the spilt glue and can be wiped off quiet easily.
Its about 3 quid a tube so I'll let you all know how we go.
Thanks as always.
