Hi all,
Apologies if this has been asked before, just making up some fuel lines and wondering what internal diameter people use?
I've gone for -4 hose which is 5.4mm internal, the original steel pipe is between 5mm and 6mm I believe? I've seen people use quarter inch which I think is 6mm but also read about people using 8mm pipe.
Does anyone see any problems with using the -4 hose?
Cheers

fuel lines around the car are anything from 5.5mm to 8mm smaller looks neet, but can reduce flow slightly so overworking the pumps, but wouldn't think matter on a weekend car. just been working on external pump and hoses around accumulator on my mk2 there all 8mm and 6mm. they long lengths to allow for less severe angles and bends, buy the best gear you can afford none of the ebay stuff worth risk unless the EN?BS code can be proven.

Great thanks for the advice guys, I got mine custom made by HEL Performance so happy with the quality, it's not a daily so hopefully the pump is happy enough. The braided lines were so much easier to fit than solid pipes
