Does anyone know what value resistor I'll need when bridging the coolant level wires so I can stop the red led flashing on the dash?

Ok, from a interweb search….
The resistance must be between 31K Ohm and 65K Ohm with correct COOLANT … 50/50 blend of
a/f to H20.

short the pins, thats all you need to do ce1 or ce2 to disable the light/test the system
technically on ce1 all you do is remove the 42/43 relay, but shorting the pins will do the same job.
for ce2 fusebox poverty spec mk2 without a header tank come with the level sender pins on the fusebox shorted together from the factory (no control relay on these, then logic is built into the clocks)

Bloody flashing temperature light has come back I've checked the short and it's good, introduced a new just to be safe but still it flashes?
Is it anything to do with the outside temperature being low?
EDIT … it's stopped now!!!

if its still flashing even with the loop, its probably dash sensor issue or maybe a wiring fault. unplug the sensor, see if it stops
