I recently changed the head gasket so it shouldn't be a coolant leak. Could It be due to fuel mixture or just the weather? Honestly bit embarrassing as I create my own smoke screen at the traffic lights;

If still doing it once hot then check your mixture settings to see if it’s running a bit rich.
If still doing it get the cooling system
Pressure checked. Appreciate you done head gasket but we all screw up. [emoji23]
If it’s light blue then you deffo screwed up and off with the head again.
Also take it for a bit of a hard run and see if could just need a good pus through if only doing town miles.

Should not smoke too much once warm. But if cold then just condensation and result of a rich mixture. (Choke).

Thanks for the reply. Really hope it's not the head gasket as it was a right pain to do, but I'll try to check the pressure.
Definitely not light blue and weirdly only when cold, so hopefully it's running too rich. But whenever I try to tune the carb it either starves itself or is excessive. I can never find the middle ground - typical Pierburg daffodil with it's fast idle bypass.
It does only do town miles so hopefully I need to run it more, but I don't wanna push it in case the head gasket has gone again!

This is how she looks when roughly warmed up, been trying to adjust the carb to get it running better but really not making much headway!

If the head gaskets has gone and coolant is getting blown out of the exhaust then you will be losing coolant or the coolant will over heat, if you don't have any of these problems I guess the engines fine and it's just the cold weather.
