Engine Bay Prep - 1.8 8v

Hi all,

Just wanted a bit of advice on what's used and what's not when running a standard 1.8 DX engine.

Will also be trying to run the fuel / brakes lines as standard it's just been a while since I stripped one I can't remember what's needed and what's not!

If anyone knows which metal tags / Holes aren't needed on a standard set up please let me know!

I've been doing lots of googling on this subject and I'm hoping to look over some mk1's this weekend at the classic car show.
I've taken all the bulkhead tabs off as they will be a pain to paint over. Going to use clips off a mk2 instead.

If I find anything I'll let you know. Do lots of searches on mk1 GTI engine bays.

I don't have a picture of the holes along the passengers side inner wing but I think they have rubber grommets in the holes?
