ECU Model number

 Hi all,

Can anyone advised me of the ECU model number for a 1990 Mk1 golf GTI. Can you confirm that it is located beneath the windscreen wiper cowel?

The question is do you have Digifant I or Digafant II,  
Or is yours Carbed or CIS.  

Digifant's are located in the Rain tray left side as you look at it.  The difference of the Digifant versions are
A square coil pack, or a round or old timey looking one on the firewall behind the engine.
