Early/Swallowtail Waist Trim

Plea for help really !?

Where you'd source a piece of Early, Swallowtail trim.

Was missing from the car when I bought it.

Would rather have a full set of the half and half, black and chrome trim than have to replace it all.

Have tried the eBays, etc with little success.

It's the front left wing piece.

Any help will be grateful appreciate.

It is different to the Cabby trim.

More of a 50/50 split, top halves plastic, lower section chrome.

Well that might be a bit of a problem solved with the Cabriolet ones, but then again the waist trim on my Merican 81 Diesel Rabbit LS was the 3m Stick on type.

Subject to confirmation the part number for the front, left strip may be 171853507… I say may be because that number will also throw up the later all black version.

Anyhow if this is what you're after, the site is in Portugese (but could be somewhere other than Portugal, where it's spoken).

Never used them, can't vouch for them nor that they've advertised it correctly / it's the side you want… make your own checks.
