Any ideas
Me again.. Does any one suffer with suspect door handles? (Exterior )
When opening the doors - both sides, the handle needs to be pushed in while pulling to open.
Apparently this is common but if it can be cured then I'd like to do it as I have gutted the doors ready for paint and would like them to work as they should.
Cheers.

Oh that is sort of kind of easy.
Quick are your door handles tight to the door, is there play in the rear screw?

Buy new Striker pins. Chances are that your nylon rollers are worn and catching the release.

Also before you take your door off the hinges, check for Sag, and adjust or shim them to get the door at the right height… if your hinge pins are worn they need replacing.

Make sure that your lock mechanism is clean and add new grease.

Also if your door pins, are too far in then the Gasket of the door is impeding the release of the latch.
In the Archive How to section I have links to some DIY's about the doors.

What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?
