Clutch problem please help

Hey guys… Im driving a 1.3 citi.. Has a 4speed gearbox on it, having a issue with it… Bought a new clutch and pressure plate kit.. Installed it as well as a new thrust plate, releaser bearing and 4 speed pushrod. But once I've assembled it, I tried to pull the arm on the gearbox up to feel the tension on it and it goes all the way up easily with my hand. I haven't connected the clutch cable to it. What could be the problem here?

Could be a number of things.
Pushrod too short - did you compare it to the one you removed just to make sure it was right?
Plate that sits in the middle of the clutch is missing/wrong/incorrectly assembled.
Release arm broken - you can check this by removing the green end cap - make sure as the arm moves it starts to push on the release bearing.
I think you need to have the gearbox back off and make sure the rod is moving when you move the release arm.
