Clearing Out What do I keep?

I have too many bits.
I will be moving from Spain back to blighty in a few months, so I need to lighten the load and only bring back the essentials.
There are a total of 4 cars worth of bits, and I'm still hoping to get two on the road.
What IS NOT worth keeping, what can I safely throw away, that NOBODY wants?
I know you cant safely throw anything away, but I was thinking:
Old cabriolet roof mechanisms (minus sealing rubbers, catches etc).
Window winder mechanisms. (Manual).
Old Suspension units.
Old brake discs, drums etc.
Your feedback would be much appreciated.
Ill be posting a list of stuff that isn't too expensive to post nearer the leave date.
Thanks

Rest of it bin.
Why are you keeping old brake discs and drums, if they are worn throw them out as no use to anyone and readily available new.

Keep all seals and clips, bungs etc - brakes are consumables and still available so bin them

It does help to know what bits are less 'critical'
Which heater control cable are you after Blah blah?
I'm pretty sure I might have a few bagged up.

I'd also save some of the little clips, brackets, switches, bits of trim, small stuff that gets broken and you can't get or is prohibitively expensive if you can find one (for example, I'm after a heater control lever and they're a stupid price for a bit of plastic!)

Send me your address and I'll post you a brushed aluminium one I found on a car I broke, if you want it?

In fact that was the on and off switch, the lever if plastic, so I'll send you that

It will sell in time and you won't be sorry because it's all worth something especially if someone needs it!

Are you still in Germany?
Space is my issue, although I may have arranged a trailer to the UK now. Still some of the big and heavy stuff will have to stay behind :-(

I'm still around my friend, you can't get rid of me that fast.
Waiting to find out when I can have an operation on my back but I have to go back to work next week, boss is getting restless and some.
Wait till he sees me trying to sit in an office chair for 8+ hours per day, that will wipe the smirk off his face.
As for your parts, your a smart guy, so just take what you can and over time they will sell!

Hi just seen you are near Malaga? That's about 3 hours from Denia. Always on the look out for parts! We are looking to do the opposite and move to Spain! When do you think you will be moving back? Cheers 🍻
Hi Denia.
Thanks for your reply. I think your about 5 hrs ish, from me, unless your Golf has wings, in which case I want some! (Now there's a thought - think man with the Golden Gun car)
Yes, I will be shedding a few bits, so maybe I can make a list and see if you want it before getting rid. I actually have 2 complete body shells on the roof of my mates garage. I think were going to leave them there for a few years. as the weather isn't going to do much to them here. There pretty much rust free. I have a complete LHD GTi Cabriolet which is rough but sound, if any ones is interested. It was on UK plates, but it's dropped of the radar, so can be registered in Spain if you get the 'birth certificate' from VW and a certificate of ownership from a Notary. Could be registered in the UK too, which I was thinking of, but I just don't have the time, and I wont have any where to store it when I get back to the UK, unless there's someone around Staffs that has space? I'm having a look at a 7.5 tonne lorry on Wednesday, with a luton body and car ramps for loading, so things may change by the end of the week. Ill post some pictures up soon, to see if anyone is interested.

Denia, I guess will be in Denia! Near Alicante, although I may be wrong. I'm East of Malaga, about 2 1/2 hours from Estepona. I'm going to Estepona on Wednesday actually, theres a VW Heritage dealer down there as well, if you need any bits.
