Ola.. my glovebox lid is fine & just renewed the locking catch too.. so when you lift the lid it doesn't stay up.. spring or catch is dodgy, so can I take out the glovebox unit itself to have a look at this?? Do I take off the lid & does the box slide out somehow?? Cheers..

Its plastic welded into place, so isn't removeable. Your best bet is probably to remove the left air vent and try access it that way. Alo try to find pics of how/where the spring is located and you'll know what you're aiming for.

Take out the passenger side vent.
This is a usa model.
You will see the spring.
you have to force it up. Chances are it is sprung or out of the holder.
Then twist it at 90 degrees to remove it.

, hope you're good. I can see the spring top, so i kind of hope that the plastic holder/casing. which you can't see, hasn't snapped or something… i'll take a look after work later thanks again.

Bonjourno Ola & Good morning (early good morning in the US i know) Progress! Replaced my glovebox holder/catch as well - think its been ripped open in the past.
The Glove Box staying open issue was relatively simple to do, thanks Briano1234 for the pics.
Just the simple things getting sorted to make everything work as it should - it's almost done!!!!!!!
