Spoke with a very nice chap named Stuart (01543 252010) as I was a bit concerned about the quality of it for the price.
Had a chat for a good 20 mins, got some modifications made to it (2" tip and straight pipe at the end as I have a 4 branch manifold). 30 month guarantee but he does believe it will genuinely last 5 yrs if used daily.
Plus asked for the best deal and got it for £9 less than advertised and it's already free postage!
Can't go wrong for £150 in my opinion, I doubt you could buy the tubing and silencers for that!
It's on it's way so I'll let you know how it looks when it turns up

Most reasonabley priced sport exhaust systems I see are for the gti. It seems to cost more for a clipper sports system. Am I wrong?

Seems to be.
I think there's more bending required!

The exhaust arrived. Looks fine. Painted black with a micrometer of paint of course, so first job was to spray it with VHT.
Welds look neat and tidy, pipes are well bent with no crushing as they don't use pipe benders. Hangers look good and work well with the mk1 and mk2 exhaust rubbers.
It cleared the tunnel, the tank and the beam. It was very close the the drivers side handbrake tube but a belt with a hammer to the hanger on the exhaust pulled it over enough to sort it and gain sufficient clearance.
The tip looks nice and on mine is only a few mm from the body as it exits. TBH I expected I'd be changing it anyway as I prefer tips that sit in the hole in the bottom of the rear panel rather than an 'up and exit' type tail pipe.
It is only dry fitted at the moment and not clamped up, so I am expecting a bit of movement on it.
