Brake servo

Needing a new servo and master cylinder as have a problem with the current one. Will a mk2 servo fit? Or does anyone know of somewhere online I can get one for cheapish?

That's great! Thanks mate, but do you know if it will still fit with a non gti servo? 

yes the fitment is the same for all the mk1 with the crossbar thingy. only thign is the mk2 MC only have 4 holes so you will need T pieces if you have the pressure switches for the brake lights, or mount a switch on the pedal box instead

ok so ill need a mk2 servo either gti or non gti and a master cylinder to match it and then t pieces. thats great cheers

for the servo all 1.8 mk2 have the 9" servo, as do turbo diesel. master cylinder just buy that new, mk2 16v post-88  22mm

do you know of anywhere to get one? tried vw heritage but can only find the 7" servos

keep em peeled on classifieds, ebay, facebook etc. new ones will cost you a fortune
