Have a look at the club's own insurance underwritten by Peter James.
Don't just look at the cost but the added extras. 😉

Hey - I insure all my classic vehicles with Footman James.
2 cars, 1 motorcycle on a combined policy with guaranteed value. The milage is limited though - i think 7k or 5k across the whole fleet. It is very reasonably priced and the service has always been great, although I've been fortunate to never had to make a claim!
I'll have to check out the Owner's club insurance when it is ready for renewal though.

Footman James are excellent, Adrian Flux & RH seem good too. From personal experience I'd give Peter James a very wide berth.

I was insured with them on my motorcycles & when I got knocked off through no fault of my own they were very unhelpful, I was constantly chasing them to do anything, despite being hospitalised & my bike written off.

When in UK 8 had Lancaster insurance 30 years ago agreed value on a golf with a massive body kit and it was good value . I have still got it but not insured as o don't use it but I have just bought a r32 engine for it. So price hike when I get around to it
