Unless you drop the tranny and drain the torque convertor,  you can't just seals and such.

From what I have seen the filters are usually good for a few hundred thousand miles.

Here is how I have done mine in the past.

9 quarts of dexron III atf fluid or compatible.
1 can SeaFoam ATF trans tune.
Mighty-vac
4 ft of vinyl tube that fits down the fill tube of the transmission.
1 quart mason canning jar or a 1 quart Pasta Sause jar and lid. (empty and cleaned).
1 pkg of Jb-Weld quick

IT is more of a refill and dilute to refresh and will exchange all your fluids…

The differential is 90wt and separate issue and it is best to have a 17mm allen to break open the lower drain and then refill it with the proper amount from either the speedo cable hole, or the top hole in the tranny again using a 17mm allen.

For the basic atf swap, you remove the shield that is 4 19mm or 17, I can't recall.

Exposing the bolts that hold the pan on, drop the pan.
this will release about 3 quarts of ATF.  You can replace the filter at this time.

Replace the filter, reattach the pan and refill with measured amount of atf, you will need to catch all that drains out so it can be measured.

I have a mighty-vac tool, and a 1 quart catch jar made from a 1qt glass pasta jar and about 4 feet of vinyl tube that fits the mighty-vac.

I use the metal lid and drilled 2 holes in it the  a little smaller than the diameter of the vinyl tubing.

You insert one tube to about 1/2 inch from the bottom of the jar and the other about a inch below the top of the lid.  I used originally JB-Weld Quick to seal the tubing to the top from the top and the bottom and allowed it a full 24 hrs to cure as you have to have an air tight seal.

The tube that goes to the bottom is about 3foot long. and the shorted tube about 1foot.

With the ATF fluid back at the measure (about 3 qts were added after reaffixing the pan through the dip stick hole.

Lower the car off the stands (I forgot that you have to jack the car)… start the car and Drive it about 2 miles.

Park the car, remove the dipstick tube and insert the long tube down the fill tube for the tranny till it touches bottom.  Using the mighty vac, you will draw in to the catch jar a full quart.  Empty the jar and repeat for 3 quarts.   Refill the tranny with 3 quarts new fluid.  Replace the dip stick, and Drive the car about 2 miles…

Rinse repeat, Drive the car, you now have diluted the fluid by 75 percent.

This final 3 quarts and you will be using a bottle of SEA-Foam ATF trans tune…

Suck out 3 quarts of ATF.
Add 1 quart of atf, then 1/2 can SeaFoam, and an additional amount of ATF.  Carefully add the amount needed to get the oil to the lower part of the full mark on the dip stick.

Drive the car about 10 miles, and re-check the fluid level.
top off or remove what is needed to get it to the full hot line, you check the level with the engine running and the car in park.

You have just diluted the old and refilled with new….
The Seafoam is a great reconditioner of the clutches and such as well as a cleaner.

If you have power steering you can use the seafoam in it as a fluid it helps there as well.

This has worked for me with good success.
