Wont start
Basically since day 1 this cars been nothing but trouble, its a 1300 mk1.bought it with a webber already on it which was running ropey , rebuilt it n took it to a local guy who set it up, ran lovely till warm then started backfiring and bogging which i mentioned in another post, thinking it was a carb problem i got in touch with the guy i got it off n got the original carb a solex pict 6. Got it running with this carb but then when hot same issue popped up. So not carb related it seems.
Next idea was its probly something electrical, so took dizzy cap off n it has a accuspark thing on it. Google them n it says a fault with them is basically the issues ive been having. Ordered a new accuspark fitted that ran worse than ever only just got back home. Now its on the drive it wont start atall, tried both accuspark things, tried a few different coils no change
Connected a spark plug to ht lead and also king lead no spark.
Got 12v ignition live coming to coil and tried three coils no difference
No spark. Is it likely that the dizzy is just knacked? Any other ideas
Should mention new ht leads new plugs, goid battery

I would suggest that you statically set it in time and then try it again.

This sounds like a classic case of 'Made in Germany, refined in Britain'.
Can you get rid of the accuspark, whatever that is, and revert to points ignition, then do as Briano says and time it statically.
