90' Cabby Clipper - dash repair

The vinyl needs re-glueing, internal shell needs repair

Afternoon all, so I'm attempting to repair my dashboard on my Clipper. As you can see from the pics the vinyl on the lip on the leading edge has started to peel away so I want to stop that before it gets worse, and the other issue is as it's made of age-old cardboard it seems a lot of the edges, particularly where the plastic facias attach on the front are frayed and one of the securing mounts for the metal reinforcement is damaged

Mainly my questions are: has anyone else successfully performed repairs like this and how did they do it? and were any specific glue's used

I'm sure I've seen a post on here that mentioned gorilla glue and lolly sticks to repair the dash shell and i'm guessing any type of vinyl-glue will be sufficient for the vinyl?

Any advice appreciated 20241120_123513.jpg 20241120_123451.jpg

Interested in this topic as a couple of my fixing points have also been lost over the years.

I re-glued the vinyl on the lower drivers side with Evostick Timebond glue a few months ago. Applied it to both sides, let it go tacky and then pressed them together and held over night with masking tape. It's held so far.
