Will an inlet manifold and carberettor of a mk2 golf 1.8 fit my 1.5 mk1??

Help my crappy pierburg 1b is giving me grief.cant seem to find an aternative as weber dont do one for a 1983 model.so my question is will a mk2 golf 1.8 manifold and carb fit my mk1 1.5???? Or do i need one from a 1.6?

This was not showing for 1983 car but wondered if it's the same?

Weber with kit 15290993 for a 1.5ltr(1977-1979 year) or a 1.6ltr
This kit includes the following for your engine:

I had a single choke weber.
Off golf.
No interest so gave it away.

Eurocarb and webcon are the 2 main experts in the UK so asking them might help.
I doubt the two cylinder heads are identical so neither will the inlet manifold be. Something about extra water passage may be….
The weber kit used an adaptor to the vw rubber gasket damper mount. Get the adapter to suit the inlet manifold you have. Or have an engineering firm make it in alloy.
The choke sizes may be OK but mains /idle jets will be too large. See the previous companies for the parts.
As it has been decades since fitting these kits I've forgotten and thrown away a lot.
I could ask someone at the mk1 show for pics
or better still wander around there for a car/owner with the conversion.
