Whats the deal with getting a shallower sump?
Hi Guys,
So I've recently lowered my Mk1 Cabrio, and I'll just point out now that had ECP not sent the wrong springs, I'd never have lowered it in the first place.
But I gave it a go and here I am - 3" off the floor.
The problem now is the Sump is quite close to the ground, closer than I'm comfortable with. I've had a look around and I can't find much in the way of a solution.
Does anyone know about getting a shallower sump or even if it can be much shallower because of the oil pickup? - Or has anyone got a dry sump?
The sump I have is the original Mk1 'shallower' standard btw..
Any help appreciated. Thanks.
