1.8DX additional oil temp sensor location????

I have a 1.8DX with standard oil cooler - wanting to fit the auxiliary VDO oil temp gauge - where have people fitted the EXTRA oil temp sender???? I have ordered a VDO T piece but the current oil temp sensor on the oil cooler/oil filter housing is pretty close already to the fan housing.  Don't fancy a sump temp sensor.



 

Pretty sure you fit the guage take off where the switch in the side of the head goes. I have just fitted a mechanical guage and the take off is mounted on the side of the head.
