My engine has developed a misfire and I'm hoping to fix before (or at) the AG this weekend.....
My engine has developed a misfire and the obvious items have been replaced today - plugs, distributor cap, etc. The mixture ratio has also been adjusted, but it’s still misfiring! Looks like too much fuel is entering cylinder 1. Could it be the metering head? Does anyone have one that they could bring to the AG this weekend?

metering head delivers equal fuel across all 4. Highly unlikely to be that. What makes you think its running rich on no.1? mAybe swap injectors round to see if it moves the rich cylinder.

Thanks for your message - I've swapped the injectors around but number 1 cylinder is still too rich. I'll try and get hold of a metering head. Is it an easy job to do, or is it a specialist job?

Did you get to the AG?

I did get to the AG and the guys at Crazyquiffs kindly fitted a second hand metering head. It’s now running well again! 👍

Yes Richard came to see me to see if I had one spare close by but \i pointed him in the direction of a lad selling a few spares from a van on the campsite. I wondered if it was you they were fixing.
