I'm set to replace the clutch cable on my 1.1 golf C, just wondering if anyone has any tips or advice before having a go at it because I've never replaced one before, I've heard it's simple enough just thought I'd get any advice beforehand.

What I have seen folks do is assemble it, and use wire-ties to keep it all in place on the clutch arm…
As many of them as I have taken off and on I thought shoot that is a easy way.
What the fellow did was assemble it on the clutch arm as the plate, rubber, and tie-wrapped it with two smallish ties. Then he placed it on the clutch pedal. He had pictures of it, but the site went defunct.

What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?
They all start with GOOD Grounds.
