I think the Mk1 dash both early and later are some what splendid, I dont need neon lights to show me how fast i am going or when my car is over heating. A few less rattles maybe but they go with the car.
I tell you what I might put an Ad on ebay ?600 for a full valet on an 'old skool' 'Campaign' Mk1!

when the dash has been changed, or worser still completely modified to another cars dash, in my opinion the car is RUINED!!!! keep what you've got (if it's worth keeping) if not look for a better one.
