Which shade of white?
Hello all
well as some of you might have seen Ive started on the body work for my mk1 and I think its original colour should be Alpine White L90E I have seen a few tasty white mk1's out there that look more creamy/yellow etc
Do you guys recon I shoudl redo it alpine white or go different shade?

I Like the origional color (alpine white) but if you post some pics of what ur thinking colourwise
Then you will get a better answer
Sometimes its nice to go for something different, but unless its full respray inside out, then i wouldnt stray too far from the origional colour imo

Alpine White is a funny bugger. I tried to match that colour when I repainted my front bumper. Admittedly it was only from halfrauds but it came up much creamier than OEM. I was also told by someone on here that it's not an unusual issue to have even with more professional paints because they all use the same basic formula. :dontknow:
I hope that helps but just for your info, I like the creamy whites on a tintop and the cooler shades on a cabby.
