Whats in the barn?
Apparently a New York man retired and he wanted to use his retirement money wisely, so it would last, and decided to buy a home and a few acres
in Portugal.
He found a modest farmhouse that had been vacant for 15yrs, the owner and wife both had died, and there were no heirs.
The house was to be sold to pay taxes. There had been several viewers,
but the large barn that was included in the sale had steel doors, and they had been welded shut.
Nobody wanted to go to the extra expense to see what was in the
barn, and it wasn't complimentary to the property anyway due to its state of repair……so, nobody had yet made an offer on the place.
The NY guy bought it at just over half of the property's worth,
moved in, and was set about to tear into the barn……. but curiosity was
killing him. So, he and his wife bought a generator, and a couple of
grinders…….and cut thru the welds.
What was in the barn……………?
Go to; www.intuh.net/barnfinds/afa70.htm
and start wishing you had bought the place. When the picture of
the barn comes up you click next at the top of the page
or index to see contents of barn. Very cool!!

I still can't work out which ones I would sell to fund restoration on the others. I'm sure I could live off them for a good few years
