8O :?
not had an encounter with super glue. you could try white spirit or just picking it off with your nails.
Sounds like it might have to go into the body shop though.
What a swine he/she is. I really dont see the point. :dontknow:

Id see if i could get it off myself (it might just be PVA or something after all) but if in any doubt it really is best to take it to the bodyshop and let them work their magic, no point risking hurting the paint.
Good luck.

Think i'd get it looked at by a pro…
if i found the culprit i'd fill all of their cavaties wth superglue to see how they liked it… and to see how long they continue breathing…

If its superglue it'll take the paint with it when you try to remove it.

Why would anyone want to do a thing like that?

There used to be special solutions that you could buy to break down superglue, dont know if they are easy to get hold of still though.

I'm sure you can get a softening agent. Try contacting someone like loctite and see if they have a super glue removing product, dab it on with a cotton bud and then use a flexible plastic scraper of some sort and gently scrape it off.
Worth a shot. Good luck!

If i remeber rightly super glue isnt water resistant, hence soaking stuck together hands in hot spoay water when stuck together.
you could try and get it off using hot soapy water and holding the sponge against it until if frees.
suggest practicing on a bit you can't see first though.
what a stupid prank…defies belief

You can buy superglue remover from B&Q, but I'm not sure of its effect on paint.
Maybe worth a try before you take it to a bodyshop…

As a last resort, is it possible to use fine grit wet and dry and sand out/off the glue. Then use some proper polishing compund (Grammics in Magdalen Street sell the stuff) to remove the sanding marks and polish up.
Good luck
