bit quiet on the forum front at the moment…


anyway, what's everyone hoping to get for they're Mk1's this christmas?

hopefully I'll be getting a new set of wheels  8) finally

and once and for all fix the epic starting problem I've had :twisted:

I'm going to treat my mk1 to some front strut braces.

…and a refurbished red grill trim.

……..and possibly a bit of turkey and a mince pie.

I'll be doing a bit of spraying and touching up. The previous owner didn't know where the corner of the car was and his idea of touching up was to employ a two inch brush and a tin of emulsion.

6 months Tax. Hopefully a new set of speakers for the front and back. Possibly a new headunit. Might look into a set of G60 steels as well. Its my 17th Birthday in January - Cant wait 8)

hopefully a set of coilovers and a respray if im lucky

FIXED  

Lighting loom , dash loom , new seat covers/foam and a few other bits & piececs from my garage  

Sort out heater matrix, fit baffled sump and windage tray, and hopefully new smoked rear lights !!! oh and a dam good clean !!!

Mine's getting a 165bhp engine transplant! The other one (cabby) is getting a good tidy up and sorting out a few minor issues.

She's having an early present, going to the health spa tomorrow (bodyshop).  I took the wheel arch trims off to find a fair bit of rust.. *sigh*

And nearer the time perhaps a Disklok - one of those big ones that covers the whole steering wheel and costs around the ?80 mark  8O I'll be leaving it in the airport mid December then a trip up to Durham, so definitely by then.

She has ongoing presents though.. spoilt

mine will be getting a tsr engine fitted, to go along with the new fuel lines, fuel pump, accumulater, fuelinjectors, filter, new brake calipers , discs & pads, new brake lines, suspension, rear axle, rear drums,  wheel bearings,  a new set of genuine badges, three trips to the bodyshop., under body waxing.she had earlier this year………..mmn wonder why girlfriend says i spend more time & money on the car than her ?
