Did you build that T4 or buy it?

I met the guy that built it (or you if it was you) he (or you) was friends with the guy I bought the Beetle from a few years back before I restored it.

had 2 Golf's and 2 T3s this time last year but thinned the collection down to these 2:
The missus' Golf, unnamed, 1.5 GX with a nut'n'bolt engine rebuild 2k miles ago, bought off a mate for a very good price. No work required at all, except refurbing the rims and replacing the nearside doorhandle



…and the money-pit, Gina, a 2.1 DJ T3 project, that's VERY nearly finished - taken me 5 years to get this far, one more patch of welding to do, booked in  for Oct - then I'll need a new project

Currently running a 2001 T4 2.5TDi 88ps every day, for mountain biking, quad racing etc at the weekends. Everyday car is a 2008 S3not strickly a Vw( it would have been a mk6 GTi but the wait for one at the time was toooo long), and the 83 Campain for sunny summer days.

had far too many dubs over the last 2 years, let alone the time I've been driving


but finally narrowed it down to a B4 passat estate - ongoing daily driver project and the mk1 goof auto 5dr project

Going to trya nd stay with just these2 now, but if i see a mk1 passat, santana or an earlyish audi 80 at the prce i might be tempted to add to the collection

bought her this time last year, so far she has had the interior finished off, wheels changed, and engine swap ( the old one was past its best at 229k !! ). plan on a couple of tweeks inc air ride and possible NoS upgrade but all dreams at the minute whilst the money is tight.

Bought an A3 5 door 1.6 Sport V reg for the wife (replaced Scenic  :y 3 months ago. Technically not a VW but VAG and almost as fun to drive as me Clipper  :wink:

have the 1.5 gx Mk1 and a mk4 daily driver which will hopefully be swapped for a blue mk4 R32
