If I need to motivate myself then I use prodigy - kinda makes me drive too fast  otherwise I enjoy most dance music to keep me in the mood and awake at the wheel especial when working nights driving long distance. If i'm chilling out then cold play or snow patrol.
I like a diverse amount of music and always take my cds with me when I drive the truck.

There's a few that add at least 20 mph, e.g. - Fell in love with a girl by White Stripes, You've got everything now by The Smiths.
Any classic high speed Northern Soul tracks generally do the trick.
If you want one from the era Top Gear is stuck in, how about Hawkwind's Silver machine. It improved the performance of my dad's Viva.

Hmmm…..major electronica for me…..drum+bass, dark tribal techno, maybe some breakbeat…..as long as it hasn't got guitars in it im happy.
