SVA test

Hi,any one on here have any tips for taking a mk1 import for an SVA test? I would like it to pass 1st time,to save a long journey for a re-test.
I have fitted a fog light into the rear cluster and put a mk1 switch in the dash,i am going to change the clocks to mph rather than kmh.I dont need a cat as it has a carb fitted even though it is a 1994
Help and tips appreciated.

i wouldnt worry mate, you dont need the side repeaters unless it was manufactured with em' the clocks you dont have to change less you want too. best of british tho,

If your car is over 10 years old you don't need an SVA test to register it in this country. Just make sure you have evidence of manufacture date (letter from VW or foreign registration docs), MOT certificate and customs declaration form and take it to your nearest DVLA office.
