Should VW have put these on the MK5??
I know vw has tried to 'go back to it's roots' with the mk5 and used (Nicked :wink quite a few styling tips from the MK1.
I spotted these aftermarket decals for the mk5 (and other mk's) on the bay. Do you think vw should have had these as standard???

They need to be higher up IMHO, they are too close to the sill. On mk1s the top of the stripes is level with the bumpers and gives continuity around the car.
I'd like to see what it looks like with the stripes there in favour of the door protectors…
Cheers,
Drew.

I think it looks cool 8) Agree that they should be the same width as the mk1 ones though
