A 1900 bottom end fitted, Kent GS2 cam, new wishbones, new ball joints, new cv joints, all new bushes up front, new tyres all round, drive shafts stripped and painted and a few other bits painted. RR set up at stealth, drove it all summer

It is currently back in it's garage having the rear beam removed, will be stripped and repainted, all bushes/arb bushes/brakes replaced.

2 gearboxes
new fuse box
polished manifold audi throttle body
audi warm up reg
replaced rear interior panels
found some speaker panels
chrome inner handles
chineese outer handles
bought a set of wheels, polished them, sold them
now runnin a set of BBS RAs being colour coded as we speak
took off magnex manifold to be re welded
new alternator
new door seals
new cv gaiters
rack mounts
fitted chrome strip grill
new shocks
fitted green tint glass
made my m3 style rear lights
german style number plates
new toyo proxes tyres all round
bought a grant motorsport head 2.0 bottom end - x2 gs2 cams - dont ask but sold it all now….
think il add about 10 hours a week of my time as well
fitted minidisk player, front rear speakers on stealth shelf, amp sub etc
Gone through:-
4 spounges
3 chammys
5 bottles of car wash liquid
bottle of t cut and wax
i now have shares in solvol autosol

wot the situation with the car now!
its been in the garage for 2 and a half months getting a 2.0 16v conv, big brakes polly mounts throughout 4 branch etc…..
almost done now…

and thats that one! now for alpine wht number 2!
after cleaning the grass and grime off the car that had been sitting for a few years i did the folowing:
new bumpers
headlight
grill
replaced rear carpet
fixed rocking seats
sorted the dash
serviced it
taxed it
moted it
new battery
welded the steering rack - new mounts
replaced all the wheels as they were odd
stole the green tint glass for the other car
re-wired the headlights
replaced twin dtm back box for standard one!
did a bit of paint work
the list goes on but all this car needs now is an exhust manifold and a paint job!
soon for sale when the other one comes back!
u can safely say ive had a busy year with my mk1s and lots of time on my hands

thanks to 3piece aka steve for all the parts you got me!

If I had my time over again I would renew all the parts in one go! Total waste of a life renewing bits every week.

Over the last couple of years the rear brake compensator and one of the springs have failed, both of which weren?t replaced during the rebuild?? :roll: .

Settling In

Replaced the fuel metering head.
Electrics :evil: , say no more
