Results from AGM..!

Hi Folks,

Apologies for the delay, work getting in the way of the interesting stuff again!

Thanks to all who attended, I think we got all the basics covered.

So:

We now have a

Chairman : Drew  (drew)
Secretary : Stephen Larkin (can't remember his username!)
Treasurer : Rob Woolley (adolf)
Events Coordinator : Andy (hairyarse)

Thanks chaps!  :notworthy:

Stephen will provide a write up of the minutes so you can read them. Key things include membership fees, merchandise and the summer event. More details when I get them..

We're a club.. !  :cheer:

Cheers,

Drew.

Thanks Drew for setting-up yesterday, it was great to meet more new faces and see a few more MK1's (Lovin' the blue one Rajan! )

For your gen info people I do have events experience but mostly corporate, not VW related so welcome any thoughts, comments, suggestions anyone has about our own show this August and indeed any shows you all think we should be involved in.

In addition (and i don't want to steal Mr Secretaries thunder!! ) you'll see soon in the minutes from yesterday that regional shows were discussed and this is another area where we are keen to promote the ongoing development to ensure we all get the most out of the club and have a damn good time whilst we're at it!

Being relatively new to the VW scene I've not done any of the main shows so all info is greatly received!

Adolf,

We're not tracking keeper changes specifically. It's beholden on the new owner to contact the register owner to update the record. We're not keeping historical information on the cars at this time.

Might be an idea to though I suppose.

Cheers,

Drew.

I wasn't able to make it unfortunately. Bit too far for me :( .

It would have been nice to meet you all, but I'm sure I'll come along to some future events.

Sorry, bit far for me too, but I can't wait to see you all on the 28th August at Gaydon. None of the Golfs below will be ready, but I'll probably be in one of my brother's Mk1's.
