You're allowed non standard plates if you're going to/from a show, at other times they have to conform to BS146d.

I think the White S1 at Stanford Hall would look better with pressed reflective white/yellow plates or even better 70's plastic fantastic 3D digits.

not to and from just in the show area if its not a public road.

The cops were out in force at Dub Freeze this year clamping down on cars with incorrect styled number plates.
I only saw the tickets on the cars once they'd been parked up so can only deduce that they were ticketed on the way to the event.
If you really need to have the black and white or pressed plates, save them until you're inside the gates otherwise it'll be an expensive day out.

i would have loved the 70s plastic plates but i had only owned the car 2 weeks, it came with either the black classics… or the dihatzu car garage plates .. i think i made the better choice haha
