My new buy

Well at last an original mk1 1.5 that i wanted, spoke to the owner, full history from day 1 to present, really nice guy, knows the car inside out, told me every single thing done to her.
Can anyone recommend insurance companies to insure with with being a member here etc.
Also can anyone give me history knowledge of this type of car please

Looks alright - I'll look forwards to seeing it in the flesh at NWM 17 (thread here)!!!!!!

If I was going for a non-GTI and not cabby, I'd go for the 1.5GL too - looks smart with the chrome, comfy and a good amount of performance too.

How can you go wrong.  less than 80,000 miles - service history & an owner who knows the car inside out .

Wasn't 250, paid 600 to end early, collecting wednesday next week as he is on hols.

Saw that on the bay, looks lovely in that colour, is it Gambia Red?
and the interior is proper pimping!!!!

Looks like a good un! Clean var and engine bay. Lovely interior condition. Just needs a patch on the front apron. Well done mate a great find.

I had that colour interior in a black 1.5 years ago - it grows on you after a while!

Thanks diesel-dubber for letting us know the colour name :wink: , looking for a replacement passenger rear parcelshelf speaker holder, if you look at pic of parcel shelf you can see it has got an hole in one, if anyone has one available, if you can let me know please.

Keeping her standard, already have a modded mk1.
Was picking her wednesday, but now collecting tomorrow.
When i get her back will see what needs replacing parts wise.
