MOT Info

Not sure if anyone else has spotted this yet but there is a website you can use to check the MOT history of a car including advisory and failure details. Could be useful if you looking at buying a car. The address is MOTs - GOV.UK. You need the registration plate of the vehicle and an MOT test number from the certificate or the document reference number from the V5, obviously if looking at buying a car would have to ask the seller for these. Tried this with my car and showed MOT's going back to 2007 along with all the details.

It only goes to 2007 because that's when they started logging everything on the central computer  :mrgreen:
