MK5 Gti

Guess who is going to Knockhill at the begining of December to drive the new Golf Gti…..???? In a lhd drive model i think.      

Oh well nevermind, at least you can drive there and back in a MK1  :wink: . Seriously sounds like like good fun, how did you swing that? Heard a lot of good thing about the new GTI. Perhaps you could do a write up/test drive for the website….

I'm afraid not, the mk1 is a bare bodyshell just now awaiting a respray… i might have got a chance to take it round the track gainst the mk5 if it was going. Don't think it would stand much of a chance though, the mk5 has impressive performance figures…. might take the girlfriends mk3 16v.
