MK1 GOLF WOLFSBURG EDITION ONE

:dontknow: does this car exist??? somebody mentioned it to me the other day and i always thought it was just the mk2????

if it does exist what were the extra features? has anybody got any pictures at all of one? :dontknow:

as far as i know the edition 1 was a Mk2 G60 my mate has got one, im not sure of the exact spec tough.

thats exactly what i thought. but he seemed certain that there was a mk1 version aswell????

any one else got any ideas?

I'm pretty sure you could spec the Edition One package to 8v and 16v Mk 2 GTI's as well. It was an interior trim upgrade to Recaro, special edition gear nob and different alloys. I'm almost positive it was never done on the Mk1 though <where's the scratchy head smiley when you need it>

I think Pablo is right for the 8v and 16v I have seen 8v edition 1s on the mk 2 but never a mk1 or any other mk for that matter

I think it was only the MK2 that model applied to. I want a G60 edition 1! (hides face in shame)
