Hi all,just thought I'd share with you all that my mk1 golf 1.8t had its first road test today. What a toy!!!!!! Why didn't I make one sooner.

Mine had it first road test on tuesday, only through 1st and 2nd but yes OMG why have sat about for years and not got it done sooner!?

Do the work yourself?
With a BAM engine, around the 3k mark if DIY.

I used an A6 1.8t whole car for £200 took out ecu,loom and engine then sold car for £200 to a local college for training. Ecu and loom modifications £300. I built my own downpipe and bought different angles of hoses and lengths etc to make it all work. I reckon it only cost me about a grand
