MK1 Campaign data base

just looking thru the registered cars and seen 'F' reg just above lll near the bottom.is this correct?????????.  :?

was about to say must have been a slip of the finger but its not really likely to be R, T, D, C, V, G....!

taken a good look and there is  a 'D' and two 'F' reg cars.
  not being picky or anything, but i have seen mk2's in ads for sale described as campaign and if memory serves me correctly these are usually "helios blue" or "??? green" could this be the owners mistake maybe?

when you say mk2 campaign I assume you're refering to 'series2' 'facelift' big lighted mk1s!, as there was a Mark 2 Golf Campaign as well, but thats a whole other kettle of fish!

Drews is a Mars Red Campaign! (unless its not one…  :twisted: :wink: )

I assume the only mk1s after A-reg were either the very few that might have been registered late, Cabs or South African CitiGolfs of course, but none of them would get away with being called a campaign!

Unless people have got the wrong end of teh stick and registered they're mk2 campaigns on here?  Possible the most plausable expanation? Don't know much about mk2 campaigns but I think they were at the run out of the 8v small bumpers and the end of the line 16Vs (??)

oh and its 'Lhasa' Green, names after the himalyan region of China I guess

manic,deffo mk2 not series2.and the ??? before green wasnt cos i didnt know wot its called,i think there is oak and another green for the mk2 but couldnt remember at the time..

anyway enough about the mk2,i was just interested in why D/F reg cars were on the data-base.
