Maybe selling golf just queries

Hi I am thinking of selling my mk 1 golf just want to know really how much I can expect to sell my car for.

I am reluctant to get rid of my car but due to my new job I don't think I will have time any more to have a old car

it is a 1983 golf gti with 89 thousand miles on the clock, completely standard still. All I have done is fit a stealth audio kit in glove box which is tiny and changed the speakers. Also got all the dials working on the centre console. It is in excellent condition inside and out. Just need some advise on a price I can get for the car. I know what I want for it just want some opinions on how much so I don't aim to high.

Shame you are thinking of selling mate. Is it essential you sell or could you tuck her away in the garage for another day?

Some pics would be helpful in valuing the car along with how much work it's had done bodywork/engine wise as well as history, owners etc etc…

I'd say you can always start high as you can always be knocked down. Tin top GTIs in excellent condition must be getting harder to come by these days
