Join a Mk1 Golf Owners Club Region

Hi,

The new software allows us to have regions - in effect small clubs to allow posts to be targeted at specific regions by the regional hosts.

Please can you take a few minutes to join a region - don't worry if yours is not there yet, over the next few days they will appear as the regional hosts get their heads around the concept.

Go to the Memebers/Regions menu on the main menu to join a region of your choice (you can also leave a region the same way)
You can also join multiple regions if you participate in more than one.

Once joined you will find a new forum under the Regional Meets section - start contributing to your region !

Is there any way of seeing how many people are in a region..?

You know Ade it was kind of said tongue in cheek but there maybe a little mileage in one.

We don't have many members from mainland Europe I know, in fact just a handful.
Can Guests be part of a 'Region'?
Can you extract from the hits where they are coming from Geographically?

Just thinking that for followers of the Club from outside of the UK it (might) make them feel that they belong to the Club and encourage more participation and hopefully more 'Paid Members' .

I joined the Herts,Beds and Bucks one as that's closest one to Essex

Well there use to be one but it fizzled out I believe.
Would you like to start one ? I can add all the necessary and then you can post up to get people from your area to come along.

I would like to in due course Ade once I get my MK1 finished and in the road. I live right on the London/Essex border. How many Essex members are there who would be interested in doing this again if it fizzled out before?

Is there going to be an East Anglia region or do we fall in the North East / Cambridge category?
